I wrote this yesterday night and i just thought to share, maybe i just might get the encouragement i am looking for;
28th April
How did it just come over me? The tired feeling.
Please, tell me i am not crazy
Please tell me that i am doing the right thing chasing after Jesus.
I know its right but then sometimes, sometimes..... sigh.
...... i just get tired
..too tired to ask for help from the one i know that gives.
tired.
overwhelmed.
confused.
I ask for strength

I know this feeling,and you have aptly described it.iThink just pray.No matter how tired one is,prayer is it.

DeleteHmmm...I'm thinking you're tired cause you've been chasing...Christianity is supposed to be a walk with Christ, isn't it? I'd say quit chasing and just enjoy your walk...
ReplyDeleteWe all get 'tired' sometimes Morounfoluwa. I believe God even knew we would and that is why he calls himself our 'Strength' too. Being tired is not a sin and when I get that way, I don't fake zeal. I just tell God exactly how it is doing me and ask for help, Sometimes we forget that God is our friend and just they way you blogged it here, you can tell him about what you are going through......So ti gbo? It is well with you because Jesus Christ is the wind beneath your sails. A little like what Aramaanda said, stop trying to chase God. He is right there with you all the time. He is closer than your skin.

Thanks alot. It was just for a moment and it passed in a couple of hours. Yeah. I tell him and i try to have honest conversations with him too. I appreciate this. Love that you called me Morounfoluwa :D
